Major Projects Framework partner is delivering the latest CAT B fit out of commercial office space for The Department of Health's across Level 7 of Quarry House in Leeds City Centre.
Willmott Dixon will be configuring and modernising c.14,000 sq ft of office accommodation on the 7th floor level within the building together with refurbishment works to the toilets on the 7th floor.
The project team will strip out the existing floor finishes, partitions, doors, tea point and suspended ceilings. Installation and upgrade of new fire compartmentation works to the service risers and new glazed and solid partitioning to create meeting rooms. New floor and wall finishes, new suspended ceiling and re-configuration of existing plumbing, mechanical and electrical services to suit revised layout.
All new works are to be DDA and Equality Act compliant.
Quarry House is a ten storey office building which originally opened in 1993 and the completed project will deliver:
- 120 new work spaces together with meeting room accommodation, tea points and print areas.
- Refurbishment of 11 WCs including provision of new cubicles, floor, wall and ceiling finishes, fittings and sanitary appliances.
- New finishes and specification similar to the recently developed refurbishment plan other floors within Quarry House.
- Enhanced facilities to improve employee engagement.
In addition, the project achieved an excellent score of 43 out of 45 within the CCS report.
The works are to be carried out in one phase whilst the 7th floor and building remains in occupation and operational.
