Transforming London Borough of Sutton's Historic High Street Buildings with Major Projects Framework 2

Our Major Projects Framework 2 (MPF2) facilitates projects that make a difference to local communities.

London Borough of Sutton is one of our members utilising MPF2 to work with our framework supplier Willmott Dixon Interiors. The refurbishment of two historic buildings in Sutton, South London is one of the latest projects to regenerate the high street. These buildings, which once homed Topshop and Vision Express, will be transformed into new modern retail and business spaces to meet the needs of the local community.Every aspect of the project reflects a balance between preserving the character of these heritage buildings and meeting the demands of a 21st-century high street. Willmott Dixon Interiors will deliver a comprehensive refurbishment, including:

  • a full strip out and reconfiguration of the four story buildings

  • removal of adjoining walls on upper floors to create large

  • open plan spaces perfect for modern business use

  • refurbishment of basement and ground floors into separate commercial units to attract a variety of retail tenants

  • installation of new mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems to support future occupiers
